Sales Induction Training - Ace Rental Cars: A full needs analysis was completed through branch visits, interviewing senior managers, and identifying competencies requiring consistency. This module was part of a series of induction modules, which also required branch managers to coach and feedback along the way, forming a blended solution. Result: High engagement levels were achieved by delivering learning through "gamification" - the inclusion of game-like elements to learning. The delivery through tablet PCs also matched the technology-minded workforce. As the demographic of staff were young and just out of school, the mix of animation, narration and sound effects ensured they had fun and retained the key learning content from the experience. This interactive and learner-centered content helped gain buy-in from branch staff who were new to the concept of training & development.
